November 3, 2006 ~ Time To Brag

My daughter LaTrisha was officially accepted into the Art Institute of Fort Lauderale!  WooHoo! Then I was worried how in the hell were we going to pay for this…. at $80,000.00 .  Then we got even better news a few days ago…. She will receive financial aide and scholarships to pay her FULL tuition!  Does that Rock or what?  I was so worried, since I knew I have all my medical bills to worry about that it was going to be extremely hard for me to assist her, like I did when she was in college in Orlando. So My prayers were answered.  Now she just has to figure out how she can afford her living expenses, because it will be very difficult for her to work fulltime with the class load.  And living expenses are very high in Fort Lauderdale. 

Of course this means she is leaving me again, but she needs to move on with her life.  I am so proud of her, because she is following her dreams.
